ArtofAppreciation.com began in 2000 when founders Bill and Anji decided to find a way to increase their family’s income while allowing Anji to stay at home with their sons. She was already working as a personal chef, so gift baskets seemed a logical way to maintain her interest in gourmet food while staying at home. They considered buying an existing gift basket company, but after extensive research could not find one offering the high-quality-yet-affordable gifts that they envisioned. Within a few years, the small venture had outgrown their home, and in 2007 the company is enjoying unprecedented growth. Despite very little outside marketing, we were featured in Consumer Reports’ 2006 Best Gifts Guide and E! Entertainment Television’s “America’s Best Products.” We have found a niche market that is hungry for beautifully unique designs with luxury touches that make our gifts extra special… all at affordable prices. We’re more than gift baskets. We’re a group of women who have discovered that it is possible to maintain a family-first work environment while building an empire with great friends. |
